Clinical
Training Program
Imago Relationship Therapy
This program is designed
for experienced therapists with a current practice which includes
work with couples. The focus is on Imago Relationship Therapy
clinical theory, clinical procedures and therapeutic processes,
clinical demonstrations, and supervision of participants' cases
using this model.
Admission Requirements
• Participation
in a Getting the Love You Want: Workshop for Couples
prior to attending the training program. (If schedules do not
permit this to occur prior to training, participants are permitted
to complete this requirement prior to Session II.)
• Possession of
an advanced degree in the mental health field and membership
in a recognized professional association (i.e. NASW, AAMFT,
APA, AAPC, etc.).
• Current clinical
practice with couples.
• License to practice
psychotherapy if required by state.
•
2 Letters of recomendation from
a professional that knows your work
• 300 hours of post graduate
supervision
• Proof of malpractice
insurance.
Each applicant will be considered
on their own merits. If you do not have all of the above credentials,
please attach a cover letter to your application which addresses
the exception. Those
who do not have the necessary admission requirements may be
admitted on the Educational Track.
Admission into the program does
not guarantee certification as an Imago Therapist.
This program has been approved
by the American Psychological Association and participants will
receive 96 CE Credits.
Tuition
The tuition for the program is
$2,500. Most students
elect to pay their tuition in three segments over the course
of the training program.
A non refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time
of your application.
