Adventures in Connection
October 12-13, 2013
Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM
Sunday 9 AM to 4 PM

Based on the well-known “Getting the Love You Want” workshop created by Imago Therapy founders Harville Hendrix and Helen Hunt, this weekend is for couples looking for ways to reenergize their relationship and find alternatives to current impasses.

Speaking the Language of Both |
| What sets this couples weekend apart is the recognition that men and women often express love and look at relationship in very different ways. Rather than ignoring those differences, this workshop will help you and your partner discover ways to move comfortably between these different styles of connection to create a vibrant relationship that works for both of you. |
| What You Will Learn |
• Skills for how to make concrete changes in your relationship and how to maintain those changes • A new vision of the possibilities of both understanding and being understood by your partner • How to get past the rigid gender patterns that can prevent men and women from truly connecting • How to create an ongoing environment of acceptance and safety in your relationship • What the latest findings from brain science, couples research and mind/body practice tells us about how to improve relationship satisfaction • How to develop a shared vision of what you want your relationship to be and how to realize it |
“As a husband-wife facilitator team happily married for 20 years and co-leaders of many couples weekends, we place a special emphasis on creating a learning environment in which both men and women feel comfortable and can get what they need to grow.”
